🎨 BAD-A Pop-Up Event Recap | May 30, 2026

The May 30th BAD-A Pop-Up is in the books, and despite the Texas heat and wind, it turned out to be one of those events that reminds us exactly why we keep showing up.
The weather definitely had its own plans that day. It was hot, windy, and determined to keep vendors on their toes. But even with the challenges, the atmosphere was full of energy, smiles, and great conversations from start to finish.
One of the highlights was getting to spend the day alongside our friend Derek. His booth was just a few tables down from ours, and it was fun watching people connect with his artwork throughout the day. There’s something special about seeing someone discover a piece that speaks to them. Before the event was over, Liam found a couple of pieces he couldn’t leave behind and proudly brought them home.
We were also excited to welcome Yami, a first-time vendor, with her beautiful handmade crochet bags. People were constantly stopping by her booth, admiring the details, and coming back for a second look. Her work was absolutely beautiful, and I’ll admit, I couldn’t resist either. I left with one of her green crochet bags and couldn’t be happier with it.
What makes these events special isn’t just the products. Every vendor brings their own creativity, personality, and story. Seeing so many talented makers come together in one place creates a sense of community that’s hard to describe unless you’ve experienced it.
The thing we’ll remember most from May 30th isn’t any particular sale. It’s the conversations. The people who stopped by to chat, shared stories about the gifts they were looking for, asked about our work, or simply came out to support local small businesses. Those moments mean more than any transaction ever could.
